I’m going to take a shot with the Washington Nationals early on in this game in Los Angeles. Patrick Corbin is 14-7 with a 3.25 ERA this season for Washington. Corbin has a 3.36 ERA in 21 career outings against the Dodgers who continue to struggle against left-handed starters. The southpaw dominated LA back in May holding them to three hits in seven innings with eight strikeouts. He’s held LA to just two runs and 13 hits over his last five starts against them overall going back to 2018.

Event: (917) Washington Nationals at (918) Los Angeles Dodgers
Sport/League: MLB
Date/Time: October 3, 2019 8PM EDT
Play: 1H Washington Nationals +0.5 (-110)

Cody Bellinger (2-8), Corey Seager (4-25) and Chris Taylor (4-20) are the three who have struggled with him the most. Walker Buehler is 14-4 with a 3.26 ERA this season. The righty has a 4.50 ERA in five starts in September. He faced the Nats in DC back on July 28th and gave up seven runs and eight hits in 5.1 innings of work. I like the Washington lineup and think they can keep things tight in the first five innings. This is not a bad value play to take the DC bullpen out of it.

Thursday Night Sun Belt Special
Tonight we’ve got a matchup between Georgia Southern and South Alabama in the Sun Belt as they take center stage in college football. I’ve got a winner in this matchup as we try to start the football weekend off with a win.
