Miami and Clemson start off day two of the ACC tournament on Wednesday. Both of these teams limped down the stretch as the Canes lost three of four and are coming off a slim four point overtime win over Syracuse. SportsMemo handicapper Matt Josephs offers his thoughts on Wednesday afternoon’s clash in Greensboro.

Event: (631) Miami Florida vs. (632) Clemson
Date/Time: March 11, 2020 12PM EDT
Play: Miami Florida +3.5 (-104)

The status of Chris Lykes is up in the air for this one, but him not being in the lineup means that the squad has gotten more from freshman Isaiah Wong. Kam McGusty has played well along with Dejan Vasiljevic who is the long range shooter. The Hurricanes are a good free throw shooting team which is good for close contests. They beat Clemson way back on December 31st in overtime on the road. The Tigers lost three of their final four including two games to Georgia Tech who had absolutely nothing to play for. Clemson is a bad FT shooting team and they don’t do well from long range. I think the Canes are in better form right now and should get the win.
