This selection does require you taking the leap of faith that the Arizona Cardinals are hiding some big things and that their offense will take the league by storm. The Air Raid didn’t see really see the light of day during the preseason. For one week with no film out there, it’s going to work.

Event: (469) Detroit Lions at (470) Arizona Cardinals
Sport/League: NFL
Date/Time: September 8, 2019 4PM EDT
Play: Total Over 47.0 (-108)

Kyler Murray and his various weapons should find some daylight. The worry is Detroit’s defensive line overwhelms the Cardinals and they struggle to get anything going. On the other side, you’ve got an Arizona defense that will be without Patrick Peterson due to suspension and their #2 cornerback is also out. I think Detroit’s offense will put up some points in this one. This one should be a shootout in the desert.

NFL Week 1 Barking Dog
There’s a week one NFL underdog that I had to jump on now before it moved away from a number I wasn’t comfortable with. I do not have a record on here yet as this is my first football season. I made picks the past two seasons for Athlon Magazine so these two records are documented. I went 51-36-3 in 2018 and 53-32-3 in 2017!
