Players Championship Betting Matchup: Adam Scott vs. Patrick Reed

Patrick Reed is a guy I have not had much success with either betting on him or against him this year, but I think this is a good spot for another try. He is hot and cold from week to week and it’s just a matter of catching him at the right times and I think this could be a down week for him.

Event: Adam Scott vs Patrick Reed
Sport/League: The Players Championship
Date/Time: March 12, 2020 8AM EDT
Play: Adam Scott (-120)

Reed doesn’t have the best track record here with just two Top-25 finishes in his six times playing this event. He did not play well at the President’s Cup, posting a 1-3 record, then followed that up with a 2nd place finish at the Tournament of Champions. He then proceeded with a missed cur, T6, another missed cut, T51, a win at the WGC Mexico, and 15th last week at the Arnold Palmer.

Scott missed the cut last week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational which honestly is not a bad thing as the conditions there were so tough, it definitely took a toll on players that played over the weekend. He also has a fantasic track record here with no worse than a T12 finish the last four years. He also has two wins already this year at the Australian Open and at the Genesis. I like the Horse for the Course play here on Scott.
