College Basketball Line Report: Devils -8.5 over Heels

The Tar Heels and the Blue Devils square off in an ESPN ACC rivalry game scheduled to tipoff at 9 p.m. ET. Duke, first in the national rankings and the ACC standings is on a nine game winning streak and are led by RJ Barrett (22.7 PPG, 7.4 RPG) and Zion Williamson (22.4 PPG, 9.2 RPG). UNC sits in third place in the ACC a game back of the Devils.

This is the first of two Duke-North Carolina games that figures to determine the Tar Heels posture in the conference moving forward. Virginia is obviously in the mix with their only two losses to Duke. They went to Virginia Tech and beat intrastate rival Virginia Tech on Monday and are currently in second place a half-game back of first place Duke.

There is a question about the health of North Carolina’s Nassir Little. He played just 11 minutes in the first half against Wake Forest after twisting his ankle against Virginia last week. In addition head coach Roy Williams state he was suffering from a chest injury. Williams told reporters after the game that Little was “OK”.
