I don’t often take unders in college basketball but this seems like a good spot to take one as Loyola Marymount hosts Brown.

Event: (611) Brown at (612) Loyola Marymount
Sport/League: CBB
Date/Time: March 25, 2019 10PM EDT
Play: Total Under 138.0 (-108)

The Lions beat Cal Baptist 56-55 last time out and have now gone under in five of their last seven. This team doesn’t rely on the three pointer and also doesn’t push the pace a ton. Against Gonzaga and BYU at home they played 70-62 and 73-60 games. They pride themselves on their defense and will play a Brown team that has gone under in six of their last nine and all but one of their road games this season. Brown is coming off a 83-78 home win over UAB but played a 58-51 game at Penn and 67-63 at Princeton. Desmond Cambridge was the team’s leading scorer but he transferred before the end of the season. I don’t like the unders as much with some of the new postseason rules, but they don’t necessarily affect some of the CBI and CIT. This one screams under.
