**Update: This match has been suspended due to Corona Virus concerns. We’ll have to shelve these thoughts for when the game gets rescheduled**

Another matchup behind closed doors, but I like Sevilla at home even without the fans helping. Roma should have been knocked out last round by Gent as they were severely outplayed at Gent but somehow hung on for a 1-1 draw and at home. Roma won 1-0 but even in that match they failed to outplay Gent as it was more or less a very evenly played match.

Event: Roma at Sevilla
Sport/League: Europa League Soccer
Date/Time: March 12, 2020 1PM EDT
Play: Sevilla (+100)

Domestically, Roma won their last two Serie A games, but those were against Cagliari and Brescia. Before that first leg against Gent, they were winless in five straight games with four losses and a draw, losing three straight on the road to Juventus, Sassuolo and Atalanta. In their Europa group, they won at Basaksehir, drew at Wolfsberger and lost at their only road game against a Top-5 opponent at Monchengladbach.

Meanwhile Sevilla earned a solid draw at Atletico last weekend and won 3-0 at a very good Getafe team the week before that. That snuck past CFR Cluj in the previous round, but unlike Roma, they really controlled both matches against the Romanian side, but were just unable to put the ball in the net. At home they have been very good this season and this matchup of La Liga against Serie A reminds me of an SEC-Big Ten showdown. Take the team from the tougher league at home at a fair price.

3% TAKE SEVILLA TO WIN (ML or -0.5)

Line Parameter: 3% good to -120, 2% to -130
