MLS Week 1 Free Pick: FC Cincinnati at Seattle Sounders

MLS is back and Seattle hosts expansion side FC Cincinnati to open their seasons. Fanendo Adi and Roland Lamah lead the attack for Cincinnati while Kendall Watson who is a dominant defender at the center back position along with MLS Cup winner Greg Garza from Atlanta lead the backline. Obviously chemistry together is going to take some time from this team and they open the season at Seattle, at Atlanta and vs Portland. Welcome to the MLS!

Event: FC Cincinnati at Seattle Sounders
Date/Time: March 2, 2019 10PM EST
Play: Seattle Sounders -0.75

The only change for Seattle is the loss of their captain Osvaldo Alonso who was a great game controller in the midfield, but at 33 years old, the team chose not to re-sign. Seattle has started the last few seasons very slowly but optimism is high for a quicker start this year. Jordan Morris is back healthy and has lethal speed on the outside while Raul Ruidiaz signed halfway through the season and scored 10 goals in 14 matches for them last year. They couldn’t ask for a better game 1 matchup to get that first win of the year than newly formed Cincinnati.

Seattle is a Top-3 side in the West and they should have no problem getting their first win of the year here,

If Seattle -1 is all your books offer, you can make this line by placing half your wager on -1 and half on the ML.

Now, Borro uses statistical analysis as well as current trends to successfully find value on soccer matches across the globe.Unlike professional sports in the United States, the best players in the world reside in Europe’s big five leagues including the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Bundesliga and Serie A,as well as the most prestigious tournament of them all The Champions League. Here is where you will find Borro focusing his attention during the fall to spring season.Of course, you can’t forget the fast-growing MLS which finishes the year-round soccer schedule through the summer months in North America. MLS is now ahead of both the NHL and NBA in average fan attendance per game and continues to grow, seeing expansion teams added to the league in three of the last four years, as well as future expansion teams scheduled to be added in both 2019 and 2020.Borro has been around sports his entire life.
